Townsend is one of my favourite Palace players and I would never swap him for Bolasie (especially after the injury). However,,,,,with good money gotten for him and with Tadic from Southampton available for just 17 million, I'd think very well about doing it. It's a hard decision. Townsend is exactly 3 years younger, but Tadic is better.

In total agreement and if the reports are true that the discussions have started at £18M then IMO far too low and smacks of needing to sell. Doesn't send the right message to the other players as to our intentions and ambitions for this season. Important player for us.

I rate Andros and would be sorry to see him go. But if Roy thinks he can replace him with someone better, then ok fair enough. At the moment it's not evident who that might be. Let's hope that replacement is lined up to an advanced stage should we sell....

Cant see the point of selling Andros just to fund a replacement. He fits our team very well. This could be his agent pushing for a pay rise

I would not let townsend go for less than £25 million and I would sooner have smorlov or mitrovic than another Liverpool reject Edited by redwyno1 (02 Jul 2018 12.03pm)
