Becky, fully agree. Like you, and many posters, I note that organisations find themselves inflicting the feelings of others on their customers. Please contrast that with Selhurst Park, where we are able to remember (silence) or celebrate (minute's applause) as we find suitable. Applause is not compulsory, but so many of us take the offered opportunity in an active and joyful way.
