Having contributed to the Bulgarian economy by having my car washed at Sainsbury yesterday I do find it annoying to be asked today by the same person whether I want my bright, shiny, clean car washed

Good call. I don't care if people don't like football or if people don't like the English football team just don't bang on about it. (I admit this slightly ironic on a thread of people banging on about things they don't like)

Great call, I get that some people dont like football and thats fine, but people act like they have just come back from a stint in a war because they were in the same pub as a football match...

Anyone who sings 'angels' by Robbie Williams at Karaoke. The original was bland and cringy, hearing 2 drunk lads singing it with their arms over each other just leaves me with a feeling of total dispair...

My apprentice. Lazy little f*ucker. He seems to tick a lot of the boxes above.
Likes to refer to people as geezers.
He’s scared of hard work.
He listens to sh*t music.
He doesn’t understand what tidying up is.
Wears skinny black jeans, then complains of being hot.
He’s constantly on his poxy phone, CONSTANTLY!!!!
Not interested in work at all, but lights up trying to explain to me about a computer game.
Moaning about his girlfriend, but won’t chuck her in.

I’m sacking him soon I think.

Someone in a bashed up Bulgarian plated transit van cut across me late in a busy junction the other day. Could’ve caused a s*** ton of damage and the chances of a smooth claim would’ve been zero.

sack him today mate.
I hate apprentices also.
lazy little turds, never show up on a day there is proper work to do.
never in Mondays & often work the evenings as a 'DJ' so they are useless next day.
One of my lot I told to paint the ceiling white & do a sample of the yellow emulsion on the wall, ended up with a yellow ceiling.
Another was in the van with me as we drove past the war memorial on purley way, croydon.
'whats that' he said.
its the war memorial i replied.
'Is that where it happened...'he responded.
sack him today.

Kids, tired of being bothered by your pesky parents?
Then leave home, get a job & pay your own bills, while you still know everything.

I saw one caravaner recently at evening rush hour reversing into the Warlingham green petrol station and gridlocking the whole area instead of driving down to sanderstead or just filling up at another hour.

Was the caravan part of the friendly caravaners that have taken up residence on the school green and spent last night setting light to things. The misunderstood little scamps.

Detest motorists that throw fag butts and rubbish out of the car window.

Also travelling people who leave sh*t everywhere (literally) and seem completely above the law.

Yeah I ‘get’ the pencil thing, Ginge. It’s always staggered me how often my daughters pick up a pencil only to then drop it; and it annoys me every time. They are still doing it into their mid-to-late teens.

I think my aversion to it dates back to primary school, where teachers would warn of the dire consequences of a dropped pencil i.e. a shattered lead. I’m sure the words ‘woe betide you’ were used.

my kids get a 'woe betide you' now. it just does my nut in. I'm pleased I'm not alone.

(edits but to nut!)

more than a dozen I would say, going back a few years, but yes at least a dozen I would say. Normally pissed blokes in the street if I'm honest.

I worked as a recruiting Sgt in Cambridge for a while and well, you can imagine.
