I’m not sure a penalty and Shaqiri’s anger at Serbi’s war invasion and genocide are really that comparable. Luka might be completely fine though. I did feel a bit uneasy about Luka’s song tbh and I know every country has been at war but not all have murdered whole villages.

It’s South London, we can handle it. We have a dressing room full of strong characters that won’t stand for bulls*** & won’t lose spirit over a supposedly bad egg. The only thing that should stop us going in for him is bigger clubs coming in & him not being interested. Besides that, I see very little downside at 12mil for a player of his quality. Agree about the song Rudi, really don’t think we could sing that with Shaqiri in the team... The goal celebration clearly indicates he hates Serbs and tbh probably can’t blame him! But to those that think we could have a Kosovan and a Serb in the same team... personally think they’re deluded. For anyone that missed it.. Shaqiri is a Kosovan and his goal celebration with his hands was refernecing his Kosovan heritage and roots.

We’re talking about a war where there was mass murder of people from where his parents lived and had to flee. His passport or country of choice because they gave him a chance of survival doesn’t mean he has no allegiance to his country. Dear me.
