Newcastle don’t rate him enough at this level. I think Newcastle know exactly how good he is at PL level - not quite good enough. He'll do a great job in the Championship - Newcastle could probably have cashed in for £10 million from a promotion-chasing club.

There are some strikers who are really good in the championship but just can’t cut it in the Prem. I put Gayle with this lot. There is always a market for relegated teams picking up these players to fire them back to the promise land and then sell onto the next Championship promotion hopeful
