Meanwhile Ward-Prowse the instigator, and Stephens the attempted leg breaker, both walk off Scot free .
And it's taken them a week to make a decision on Wilf's fate.
The FA really are pathetic.

Not cobblers.

Ward Prowse is a little rat faced prick and was glad to see Le Tis stick the boot in, as his words carry weight at Soton:

As for Stephens, you may never see a more blatant orange, or in fact straight red card not even warrant a free kick 5 yards in front of the ref.

Refereeing standards seem to somehow be getting worse since that days of David Elleray and Uriah Rennie, which is pretty incredible.

its was sound advice, we had him for West Ham and he now only misses the Doncaster game when we would have probably rested him anyway!

He had three days to state whether he would contest the ban or not so he could have played against West Ham then told the FA that he wouldn't contest it

There's no added ban for a failed appeal of the ban anymore so even if you know you'll lose it, it is worth the try.

Unless doing that means you are banned vs man city but would play vs Accrington Stanley.

Or in our case, West Ham and Doncaster

This was never going to be overturned and Palace just played the system so he could play against West Ham.

Worked perfectly

thought that is what happened, he scored against WH and now only has to miss the FA Cup game to complete the two game ban!

In a way I feel sorry for the Doncaster supporters who no doubt had been looking forward to seeing Wilf play.

I remember 45 years ago there was a rumour that George Best was going to be in the Manchester United team coming to Selhurst and how disappointed I was when he wasn't in the squad

At least WZ will be safe from injury and up for the next PL game, which is far more important for our future wellbeing!

Since his sending off he has been a revelation he was again fouled constantly today with a very bad tackle on him near the end of the game just for a second I thought he would explode. Luka got in quick and Wilf calmed almost instantly his goal today was of a very high class good to see

A few times today I thought he was gonna loose it. Also against United when McTominay was strangling him I thought he'd throw a punch or something. Really got his act together.

They got involved in that tussle Wilf has with whoever it was vs Manchester Utd and their mascot from Bromley.
