without a Cabaye type, I think we would really struggle to hold possession in the opposition's half. that is something we'll need to do when losing. especially against average sides who'll sit on any lead they get.

If you want to live in a world full of kindness, respect and love, try to show these qualities.

Yes I see this but the idea that Cabaye was a playmaker is a misconception. He wasn’t setting people up much at all. He was always involved with the opposition centre mids and the ball passed through him a lot before we got near the final third. Then when they retreated he’d try to bring the ball down and spread play or just a normal pass.

The latest rumours are that the move is stalling due to the player's massive wage demands.
This is not surprising really is it?
WHUFC's ex-director of transfers Tony Henry was forced out of the club for describing African players as having a "bad attitude" and prone to "cause mayhem."
I suspect this Kouyate was at the front of the queue in this regard, but even if we don't know for sure he was chief troublemaker there is sufficient evidence there to avoid buying him.
Fingers crossed the deal falls through.

I think his comments were mainly aimed at Diafra Sakho

This is correct, that was disgusting what Henry said.

You can't tar everybody with the same brush.

West Ham were right to sack him.

Have always rated Kouyaté, hope we can make the deal happen.

Not sure there's such a thing as players having permanent bad attitudes, it's all about the general atmosphere and environment. If the player feels valued and happy, he'll stop stropping around.

...we must expand...get more pupils...so that the knowledge will spread...

Club have just announced that we have signed kouyate. Decent signing, hard working midfielder, very solid. Adds good depth and grit to the centre of the park. Hopefully get the rest over the line now
