I think the point is in the wrong place....our total budget is possibly £2.5 m ?

According to the Sun (so take with a pinch of salt) Bournmouth have bid 25m for him.

Reading between the lines that's pretty much our total budget. Hopefully we'll miss out on him!

He is obviously a very good player, but L.B. is not a priority position, in fact it's or best position as far as coverage IMO, with a very limited budget we have to fill out weakest positions first.

Agreed - if we have very little spend why would we spend it on a position that is already oversubscribed?

He's not a left back, plays attacking left side
midfield in club football, roughly where RLC played last season. Good player, though probably too expensive. But if RLC doesn't return he would fit the bill

The artical in the link calls him an attacking full back? anyway, i doubt very much we can afford him even if we wanted to, good player though

It just sounds like the brand name for something you might take if you’ve got constipation.

Mr Hodgson stated we would get new recruits early in the window London premiership clubs have done that but we have a new goalkeeper a free transfer only - a familiar pattern - we will leave any new recruit till the last minute- all too familiar
