I thought I would post this. Jose Fonte has been released by his Chinese club. I know centre half is not a priority but he could still be a useful addition if his demands are not to excessive.

Like that Brazilian keeper, might be worth sticking him on the bench till January until Dann is fully fit. Kelly really stepped up to the plate last season, but Jach might need a bit more time in development. Experience dictates that one experienced and fit back-up CB is not enough. That said, Fonte might want better than that.

Conceded eight goals on his debut for his Chinese club! A couple of years ago it would be a yes, but I think his PL days are now past him.

No brainer. Time to be realistic and see our club for where we exactly figure. If Fonte would be happy with a return then negotiations are surely worth while.

With dann returning and the thought that fonte not settling for a place on the bench behind Sakho and tompkins, I don’t think we need him. Midfield and attack is where we are light.

I’m in portinatx. I’m 41 going on 21 and would love to go, Mrs is 33 going on 63 and she’s only up for the hotel entertainment. Shame. Nevermind, quiet break this time round. I really wanna go to one of this daytime pool parties but frigg me the prices.
