The gender pay gap due to sexism has been proven to be a total myth, yet they still run with this crap.

What a fine example of how to make a story out of nothing

If anybody were actually female, black, asian, trans and disabled they would have to have a BBC correspondent based in their attic. Or, of course, become Director General or a TV presenter for the BBC.

Remember, the BBC thinks it right to judge someone on the colour of their skin nothing to do with their ability or personal character. So does the KKK.

The BBC used to be held in high national regard up until the 1990's, or so. A National Treasure full of leading-edge reporters.

Now we find that reporting of The Falklands was flawed, and that Britain was actually very close to losing the conflict.
The corporation that tried to stitch-up Sir Harry Webb (Cliff) with the police raid at his house.
That had a sexist pay structure

Todays headline stories on the BBC website are:

1 Highlights from Oscars night
2 'Give me an answer, give me the end' (IRA bombing of 1970s)
3 Dog catches 83-yard frisbee throw
4 The precious metals inside our phones

FFS, where is this 5hlt generated from ?

The BBC and ITV are launching a streaming service to rival Netflix called Britbox.

So us licence fee payers get to give the BBC more money for programs we have already paid for, well that is of course if you are stupid enough to sign up to it.

Why do I get the feeling that the BBC will throw millions at this and it will end up being a financial disaster. Re-runs of Only Fools and Horses anyone? No well you can always pay to watch re-runs of EastEnders!

I wouldn't mind if BritBox replaced the licence fee now that would be a service I could get behind.

Anyone who studied the conflict knows we were close to losing at several points. A couple of years ago got slated by our right wingers for suggesting this was a possibility.

However, you may have noticed that the BBC does get very jingoistic in times of war and has bent coverage to support the Government at the time.

"The polling suggests Britain is now among the most positive countries internationally when considering immigration"

I would really like to know where this comes from and who these people are as it looks like pure propaganda with no clear substantive data e.g. where was this online poll offered and to who exactly?

[Link]

It says "The results emerged as part of an international poll of nearly 20,000 people across 27 countries, between 26 November and 7 December last year"

Also "It was undertaken as part of the BBC's Crossing Divides season, which is bringing people together across lines of ethnicity, class, faith, politics and generation"

In the smallprint of the graph it says "Base: circa 1000 UK/GB online adults per year"

When I first saw this headline I thought Benteke had been caught flashing.

Yeah, it's pure propaganda. The BBC would NEVER run a story from any of the studies that show a negative impact om immigration.
