Is there another country in the world that forks out millions in a compulsory tax revenue for a gang of elite, youngish Oxbridge-type left-wingers and Grauniad-reading pinkos to control an important media broadcaster?

Bearing in mind what a useless nincompoop we have as Prime Minister at the moment, Le Maistre's view that "every nation gets the government it deserves" seems equally apt as to its national media source.

I'm pleased to announce that that poor lady who was abused on a plane by a Gammon and really shaken up managed to make it on to breakfast TV this morning.

I think Ryanair are partly to blame for this. This lady has problems with getting about. I am guessing that they asked people who needed help to board first which is standard practice for the airlines. However that is illogical if the person has an aisle seat. You get them settled in and then the passenger with the window seat boards and now they have to move. He should not have abused her but why don't airlines ask people who need help to board last. Let everybody else get settled and then assist those who need it. This is presuming if you need assistance you ask for an aisle seat.

I also blame Ryanair because the way they manage their flights I think adds to the stress of flying and clearly this man was stressed. Anyway I hate Ryanair so they don't get the benefit of the doubt.

The problem with that is when she has to struggle to her feet during the flight as the middle and window seat occupants need to get up as they can't control their bladders

Quite possibly but surely the key thing here is that this makes headline news.
These kinds of minor altercations take place all the time on transport, especially planes where people are a bit stressed. The only reason this is news is that this woman was Black, got called a rude name starting with the word black and ir was filmed by someone wishing to publicise it.
The TV networks were falling over themselves to air it and she appears on a chat show the next day. That tells you all you need to know about modern Britain.

Meanwhile, serious crime is taking place and it barely makes the local papers.

Absolutely right and particularly so with regard to the BBC.
