The more I actually consider him, the more Welbeck looks like the player most similar to Zaha. Strong, tall, fast, runs a lot, hard-working. Exactly the same qualities. Not sure you can find something like that anywhere in the world. Antonio has speed, but he doesn't react as fast as these too and doesn't keep running the entire 90 inutes as he is actually a little chubbier.

So, in case Zaha leaves.....Welbeck would be the actual replacement. 27 years isn't a lot, but he needs to stay clear from the knee problem he had 2 years ago.

I'm assuming that is sarcasm. 43 league goals at the age of 27 with most of the time playing as striker at two top clubs, Man U and Arsenal

Agree, £15m sounds more than a fair price.

We could offer him regular game time as a starting XI.

Possible route back to England team...

He won’t have to move and would get to play at Selhurst in front of the best supports in the league.

He’d score goals for fun alongside Wilf.
