SSN are ridiculous, if you ask most Germans what they think of Meyer and they’ll say he run the midfield at Schalke! Sky showed a 40 second clip of his stats stating he hasn’t scored or got an assist, the usual hate on Palace! If Liverpool, Arsenal and Marseille are genuinely interested then we will do well to get him to Selhurst Park I would have thought!

Massively want this deal to happen. If we keep Zaha and pull this off I would be happy with the transfer window. Also considering we have a new keeper. In an ideal world we would bring in a winger as I suspect Zaha will play up front or off the front man.

That clip was produced to cover Arsenal and Liverpool's interest in him and they're now recycling it. And yes, those are his stats. It's not the full story, but a numbers-based snapshot of it. Google 'chill pill' and hit I'm feeling lucky

When we were initially linked the other week I watched his highlights reel and thought he looked very much like a younger fresher Cabaye. Picking up the ball deep, starting attacks and hungry in the tackle. It would be a fantastic signing I think, filling a big need. If the medical is today... We can expect it to take at least another 10 days to be announced after our notorious rigorous medicals

His best performances have been in that deeper role seemingly due to his slight lack of pace - something that would be magnified in the PL. Reckon he could be the creative spark needed to terrify teams going forward with Wilf, Andros & just about any striker thriving on accurate, clever passes. Everything crossed.
