On the face of it this looks bad, and it is, but the important thing to note is he's still in the right position to miss those chances. I'd be really worried if he was not only missing chances but also not getting chances. As long as he gets himself in the position to score, I believe it will eventually happen for him. And one thing we definitely know about Wickham is - you don't get in the position to score from the treatment table unless your nurse is really fit. Didn't Sala miss as many as Benteke though, albeit Sala scored loads more.

Salah is one of the best strikers in the world. Benteke had a historically woeful season last year. I agree we should give him another chance this year - 'why not' at this stage. Its a confidence game for sure, and it was good to see Benteke net in the pre season. I hope he comes good, we really need him as I am not sure if Wickham will play again and Sorloth is nowhere near ready to lead the line just yet. If Zaha goes then Benteke will become even more important for us this year.
