Sort of missed the point of my blah blah blahs there mate. They preempted and replaced the usual replies to someone getting over excited about a player doing well in preseason such as “X player also did well in preseason once”. But for some reason you wanted to add in your own but ok...

Anyway, all I was saying was fair play to Sullay and long may it continue... the form he is in and not this slightly pointless exchange...

Saw him play for Charlton a few times and he struggled at League 1 level, can't see him being the saviour.

People can have a breakthrough season such as Wan-Bissaka last year or Harry Kane in recent times. I think he looks like a player that suits our style. More of a player than a target man and able to play a few forward positions. Useful. I hope he gets a chance.

Hope Kai Kai gets a chance, it must make a difference player with better players than in league 1. He’s looked one of our best players pre season. He looks like he’s really proving to roy he’s good enough! Fair play to him.

Agreed, players can often look bang average on loan or wherever until they get a chance. Certainly the case with Kane and Townsend.

I thought Woods gave a good account of himself, played ok. Impressed with Daly in the limited time he was on.

Does anyone know if Ollie O'Dwyer got a run out off the bench??

Don't waste your time with jealousy. Sometimes your ahead, sometimes your behind, the race is long. But in the end it's only with yourself!!
