A bit harsh, as far as I was aware they were compensated and the club agreed to find them alternative housing, which I suspect will be better than they have now. Wasn't it only 1 resident who objected?

For the good of the club, Palace wanted to move some people currently sitting in block E every other week. Both A and B would be compensated and found alternate accommodation / seats. Most Palace fans think A is completely correct and justified and most seem to think B isn't. If you live in A or sit in B then you probably don't think that it's a good idea.

That's a shocking analogy as whilst A is for the good of the club B is only good for a small number of Palace fans

The proposal wouldn't just have affected those who would have been required to give up their seats in Block B. It would have affected the whole of the Holmesdale Lower. Standing in Block B only works because it's off to the side and doesn't block much of the sightlines in other blocks. Standing at the front of Block E would mean everyone in Block E having to stand and that would have had a domino effect either side of it. It was ill-thought out and has quite rightly been binned.
