In my opinion, the club needs to make the effort by (say) February to canvass opinion amongst those in the Lower Holmesdale.

Ideally the club needs to get figures on a block by block basis, of how many fans per block would want to move to a singing section in blocks D,E and F (not just E)

And also how many fans in blocks D,E and F would want to move away, should a singing section be created in blocks D, E and F. And whether those fans who would prefer to move away would want to be elsewhere in the Lower Tier, or in another section of the ground completely

If, from that data, it looks like it is feasible to arrange from the following season, then the renewal process for the whole ground needs to be considered.

All other sections of the ground initially must be renewals only, and dealt with pretty quickly, say a 4 week renewal window in March.

Then for the first couple of weeks in April, fans in D, E and F who wanted to move elsewhere, have first pick of all available (including unrenewed) seats in all the OTHER stands (and Upper Tier)

Then for the next two weeks of April the box office can look at what space has been opened up in D, E and F, and put people in there who applied to be in the singing section during the winter consultation.

Maybe have one week for further moves and rejigging around (for people who renewed) to take advantage of any freed up 'good seats' (including fans moving out of D,E,F who want to be elsewhere in the Lower)

From May, then deal with brand new season ticket applicants on the waiting list.

Well obviously more dialogue is expected or will be needed if they want to provide a decent move for these sitters. See dorking’s post. More dialogue than so far and your scenario. Some don’t even want the dialogue.

I despaired of the atmosphere when we had the HF and I think I would even if they got their way. But without them, it's abysmal and what little we had can easily become something we can't get back.

Personally, I'd like to see the club taking a 100 times more proactive attitude toward building the atmosphere than it does today -- regardless of the outcome with the HF.

I know some believe 'a few wins and all will be well' but look at the evidence across the PL. It's highly improbable that's true. Everton, Arsenal, Man U, Liverpool, West Ham, West Brom, Stoke (when they were up)...so many clubs effectively dead zones on match days. And it's not cos their fans care any less than we do.

If you want to live in a world full of kindness, respect and love, try to show these qualities.

The people who have invested money in the club own the club, and the fans are just customers. Unless the rules of ownership have changed recently.

I can't see the owners of Tesco moving the alcohol aisle closer to the door because it suits a minority group of their customers.
