Well he has weighed up the options and views, hence why he has made this decision. Unfortunately, you can not please everyone and people have been for and against the move on this forum. But at the end of the day, he is he chairman and it’s his decision.

I’m confident Steve knows all about the ground regulations etc...otherwise we would have been fined years ago for any breaches.

Have you heard the noise from the lower holmesdale from our 3 home games. It might aswell be closed

you will have your wish I feel this will be what authorities decide and also objecting to ground expansion (new stand). So those that wanted a quieter Selhurst Park will get their wish

For those seated there (as I was for very many years) all the £££££ in the world will not compensate for not being able to watch the game from behind the goal. It's not everyone's favourite view of a match, but for many, it is simply the best there is, so £££s, seats in the new stand (down the long side of the pitch, remember) or even seats in the Director's box with free champagne for 2 years ain't gonna make no difference. There were groups there who had stood in the same place when it was terracing, moved back when the HOL was built, and generally knew most people around them. They had their own matchday 'atmosphere' but obviously, one of less value than peoplewho don't even wear team colours.

(And, NO, upper Hol or Sainsburys will not be the same either)

please stop chatting s***. Wolves' whole South Bank stands. Both of Chelsea and Leeds' ends stand (fair play to them for this). Every club in the country has an area where fans stand, no one gives a f*** now and with safe standing coming it it will only be further encouraged

Great news but still people moan. I despair, I’m sure a certain proportion of the population actually enjoy complaining. Whatever solution the club came up with it’s obvious it was impossible to please everyone. Sometimes decision makers have to make what they deem the best solution for the majority and they don’t get the benefit of sitting on the fence or just voicing their opinion.

When the club phone those in Block E,

I assume they will ask " Do you want to stay in

your seat in a singing section? "

If that's the case, what's to stop everyone in

the block answering "Yes" thereby in effect blocking

the move.

The club have made their decision and I highly doubt they’ll change it again. Instead of asking everyone in D-F and getting the answers they didn’t want, they may have decided to do it anyway rather than go round in circles and have more time to find some solutions to those who do actually want a certain number of decent view seats together for a few seasons and aren’t just creating more of a problem just because they think they can.

And there have been fans who go with different mates for years and grab any tickets there are.

The end decision would’ve been made based on the bigger picture, what everyone and the club and players get from an atmosphere that will no doubt be the best there is for a while before some more swaps might need to happen. All of those factors would be more crucial and worth doing than not doing to keep a few content compared to the majority.

the fans you stated may stand...but the atmosphere created by them over the whole match is nothing compared to the HF.

also a year or so ago, i sat in the south bank at wolves with my mate & there were people handing out sheets of paper with chant lyrics on then

For me, got to be the right decision.

From a comedy perspective, looking forward to at least one ‘hold out’ who resolutely refuses to get involved with the atmosphere spends the whole time trying to get everyone to sit down.

It's the right decision in the best interests of the club. Obviously some are not going to be happy but I suspect that most of the outraged on here are not going to be affected by the decision but are using it to knock the club and or the HF.

Be good to have an atmosphere back again. There are only 100 of them but they get the rest of the stand, and sometimes the whole ground, going.

It is a real shame for those who have to move. I can understand how muh history some fans have in those seats and I hope they get a real good deal out of it.

However, it is the best thing the club could have done, and I’m over the moon to hear our atmosphere is going to return. We were slowly turning into Arsenals and it was clearly effecting the players performances, so it’s going to improve results at home for sure.
