Yes they do, social media has shown that (maybe look outside the HOL bubble). Unlucky.

This...and since the announcement its been good to see some positive and supportive comments on this thread from people who don't usually post on HOL . The HOL "bubble" has been ultra negative the past couple of seasons (oh no..!! I made a pun there time to lock the thread !! )

I hope now that the Holmesdale Fanatics have got their way, they don't lose enthusiasm after a month and start asking for something else.

That's what happened when my daughter wanted a puppy.

She went on about it for months but when I finally caved in and bought a Cockerpoo, she soon lost interest.

Mind you, I did enjoy walking that dog every day.

But that's not the point.

I'm worried that the Block E singing section is going to be the Cockerpoo all over again.

similar to my feelings, now the HF have got what they wanted (however the way they did or didn't go about it) i hope they, from the offset make a great contribution and show it was worth it, that they are needed, that they are worth it and that people losing seats will seem worth it.

I wanna see them doing more than what they did.... i want them singing all game, otherwise, it's all just a bit of a mess.

This was once a quality forum....

I think we will see an HF presence of sorts at the next Wolves match, but can you imagine the display they will put on first home match of next season in their new environs...it will be epic!

Great decision from the board on this. Most fans are behind it, it'll improve the atmosphere for the future no end. You'll never please everyone in any aspect of life, some people just love to moan and don't like change. Tough!! Things change in life and people have to make concessions for the greater good of the club.
I'm sure those needed to move will be offered decent compensation and seats not too far away. Lets stop f***ing moaning now, decision made, get behind it or just keep quiet! The atmosphere has been missed b the vast majority of proper football fans, it's people that turn up with blankets and sandwiches that are complaining. Go sit in the main stand and renew there when its all new and shiny!

This is good news for the club. I'm really happy.

Good work by SP and the HF to get this worked out together. It's a win for everyone, Palace, SP, HF, fans.

Proud of both sides, and now we can get back to business.

No.

They do have a massive amount of support and are good for our club on a number of important levels.

it boils down to should we have singing sections yes or no.

I suspect a majority think yes.

A big test of the HF will be inclusivity. how would they be, for example, if incumbent block e holders said they wanted to be in the singing area?

Is there a definitive answer as to whether they will be back this season in block B?

I'd like to think the HF are heartened to see the large number of people supporting them through the petition, the we aretheholmesdale sign up, and general asking how soon they will be back

A home game in the cup would be an excellent 'dry run' for the block E set up

You speak like you have a right to stand up, I just wondered where you get that from. If you read the stadium rules you will find that standing is forbidden just because it is not enforced at the moment it doesn't mean that it never will be.If the club are creating a singing block then that makes them responsible for it and could create problems.

Entire away sections stand, every stadium, every week. I can't recall ever sitting down at an away game other than our Wembley appearances & even then it was only half the time at best.

Not sure I've seen away fans at SP sit either?

I think that even the HF were aware that a huge proportion of the signatures on the petition were false. You only had to look at the names of the so called fans to see that they were fake and if they checked the IP addresses they would notice that a huge number of signatures came from the Brighton area

I, for one, am glad progress has been made & 'get' that it's for the good of the Club - if they can generate half the atmosphere that was managed in our last two Wembley trips it'll be worthwhile. What I don't like is the way the whole situation has been handled (by both sides) and how we've been portrayed across social media.

We joined them in E for the Carabou cup game against Huddersfield last season & despite the lack of numbers in the ground the atmosphere was way better than it is at the moment.
