My concern is that without HF and Wilf we are relegation fodder through and through.

Without Wilf maybe but as far as I know the HF dont actually play the football. I'm sure Roy, coaches and players will be delighted to learn that some fans think they are not good enough to stay up without a 100 people waving flags and singing!!!!!!

Oh ok well if YOU'D rather do that then of course the rest of us must do the same. I mean, Why didn't you say so at the beginning!
Problem is, many many others feel completely differently to you because they rejected CPFC's polite request to move.
Makes me laugh when people say I'd rather this and I'd do that. Like thats the answer because they thought of it therefore we all have to agree!

Without Wilf we have to break a hoodoo which is not easy but once we win once without him the monkey is off the back.
As far as the HF are concerned, utter tripe. How many times have we beaten Liverpool at home with the HF in the ground? in about 5 attempts its just the one I think. Whereas we have played them once since they left and lost and guess what? the hero worshippers thiink thats down to HF. And the Southampton result? Well you could blame HF for their absence. But if you're going to do that the defeats last year to the likes of Huddersfield, Southampton (AGAIN), Arsenal and Man Untd, etc could be blamed on their attendance. Neither of which is true. Rubbish

Decent article. IMO the club need to stop sitting on the fence and make a difficult decision.
They can’t carry on doing nothing, leaving the block E fans feeling anxious over their seats, and the HF on the verge of chucking it in.

With respect, from my standpoint the club are not sitting on the fence at all and issued a statement clearly setting out their standpoint on this matter.

"unless 100 supporters at the centre of block E would like to give up their seats voluntarily on the basis that the club will do its very best to find them alternatives, there is no real prospect of facilitating their wish of a move to the centre of Block E at this time"

From this one can deduce that the club have no wish to forcibly 'Evict' season-ticket holders from the centre of Block E, to accommodate the HF.

I agree if this article is correct the club have done all they can to facilitate an agreement. They offered the original block and to keep talking as the new stand is built. It is completely unrealistic to expect them to force the move of existing season ticket holders.

Agree with both of you.

Perhaps they should have asked them then!

As per the club statement :

"News of the proposal leaked out and we received a large number of written and verbal objections from supporters in the area that would have been affected. Many of those supporters writing to us pointed out that they had been in their seats since the stand opened and were strongly opposed to what they saw as them being forced out of their seats"

The club felt that it would have been not only disruptive but very unfair to forcibly move long-standing season-ticket holders out of their seats to accommodate the HF, besides this would have generated ill-feeling towards the fanatics.
