I agree with a lot of what’s been said. Self entitled, having a Cheek (I wish we had him), all about them etc.

They could’ve just waited for the main stand to go up when there’s more options for fans behind the goal to move elsewhere so where the safe standing is going the HF can stand. But no, their immaturity takes over. But then I start thinking maybe they’re going elsewhere in the ground or indeed nowhere in the ground for a season or 2 so that if the atmosphere is pretty low Parish and others will be desperate to see them back.

I’ll miss some of what they bring but I won’t miss the drum or the constant singing and jumping up and down from 20 lads to a song nobody else knows, and that would either go on for the first 20 minutes or when the game is looking lost. There’s enough people and enough song starters like how we used to do it to create an atmosphere without them so I doubt they’ll be that missed and they should really get over themselves.

But this is young people today. Very thin skinned, sensitive and believe their lives are followed closely by the outside world when really people mainly don’t care. Or do all young people closely care what the 700 people they follow are doing?

I was in the Legends Lounge yesterday talking with Neil Shipperley. He is adamant the team needs the support and noise created by the HF referring back to times where support of the crowd makes a difference.

More importantly he muted something might be on the horizon.

From what I have seen over the season so far we the crowd have a responsibilty to our team to help them as we have demonstrated over many season prior.

Noise = Energy = Improved Performance.

Is changing your mind not allowed in this alter cyber world? Or does everyone have to as stubborn as possible on this?

I changed my mind on

1) the atmosphere after witnessing Liverpool and Southampton (Newcastle has been just as bad. Worse if you consider we didn’t concede and it was a game a bit of extra support could’ve made a difference except at corners) And the missing of the HF and the rest making up for it. Away games are now apparently sinking too.

2) The HF’s approach to the whole saga when it finally came out how badly it was handled by the club and the communication the HF thought was coming with all fans of Palace fans didn’t happen. We then get their literature which wasn’t given a chance either.

This isn’t North v South. I changed my mind? So what? Some maybe should too, or will when it happens, which is the rumour and of course what Parish actually wants if it came with nobody being put out. He may do that anyway.

What harsh reality???? Last season with the HF at this stage P6 L6 NO Goals and N0 points and rock bottom of the table. This season without the HF P6 W2 D1 four goals and seven points and 11th in the table.

Get some perspective for goodness sake.
