I am fed up with Mrs May we need a leader that is not afraid to upset the snowflakes and stand up for this country. Personally I loathe Boris but it seems almost impossible to envisage anybody else other than him now emerging as the next Tory Leader/Prime Minister. And the hysteria around the virtue signalling from the usual suspects is almost like Brexit, Trump and Salvani/5 star movement never happened. Nor are the Swedish Democrats about to emerge as the biggest party in the elections coming up and neither have the AFD surged in Germany. It is almost as if, and surely the progressive types cannot honestly be this stupid, that they have their heads firmly buried up the own arses when it comes to understanding what is happening out there in the real world.

With 4 out of 10 muslims wanting some sort of sharia law in the UK do the politicaly left minded people see why alot of people are concerned with how things are progressing in this country. I believe wearing the burker is a sign of supporting every aspect of Islam and being one of those people who support sharia law in the UK. I think wearing the burker is now a show of defiance rather than religion it self.

Politicians vote with their conscience rather than follow their grass roots support. This is not democratic. However... As a consequence, homosexuality is not a criminal offence, we have no death sentence, the pill is licensed, sexual equality exists on a statutory footing and the Irish "troubles" are essentially historic. All "progressive" steps that you may deplore but which would have got nowhere under a populist government that seeks to precisely reflect every twitch and gripe of the blue rinse daily mail readership (or dyed in the wool red, socialist worker type). Populism = easy solutions for difficult issues. Thought through nuanced policies replaced by knee jerk emotion led reactions. That is, precisely the reason why we have a patrician system. Boris would be a diluted poor man's Trump. Vacilating from one reactive popular cause to the next while Rome burns. He would be a disaster as leader.

Funny how political decisions that you don't deem populist are political decisions you agree with....eh...get where I'm going? Unlike you I don't agree that all of those decisions led to positive outcomes...In certain aspects I'd agree with all of them but not what has accelerated from them.....also homosexuality being a criminal offence wasn't a majority view in the early seventies....So repealing it was actually more a populist choice...Even Thatcher voted for it. How do you deal with people who express opinions but are less intelligent than you? That is, when their views are clearly informed by ignorance or blind stupidity?
