Has Hennessey lifted his game?

Even with Gaita I now 'feel' that Hennessey has lifted his game enough to be No 1 keeper. He hasn't done his usual 'Hennessey - Rabbit - in - the -headlights' thing for a few games now. Hope this is true. Thoughts? And let's be encouraging please.

Players do tend to improve when there's a real threat of losing their place. Personally, I still believe it's time for a change and hope Guaita can be the class we've needed for a while. If Roy sticks with Hennessey, I hope he proves me wrong

Too early to say as we've been playing teams like Reading and Oxford...However, if he's got any sense he will be upping his game in training in order to get ahead of Guaita against Fulham.

I noticed an improvement since Dean Kiely arrived as goalkeeping coach. Some of the credit belongs there.

Apologies if i missed it, but why was Henny missing for the game V Tolouse?

Felt something in training, cautionary procedure. Expect him to be 100% by now and ready for Fulham.

Totally agree with you a vast improvement since the arrival of Dean as coach.

This is the total crux of it. He looks an entirely different keeper to the flapper that started the season last year. The introduction of Guaita will spur each other on. I have no worries about who is between the posts this season.

Hope Guaita gets a chance to start this season. Hennesy has had a long enough run between the sticks. Time to warm the bench in my opinion.
