We got off to a winning start? It feels like ages ago but maybe last season has distorted my memory.

Great start. Last year gave everyone a few game head start. Still bought our players late , not ready yet , but needed a win to start. Think Wan Bissaka starting was massive.

Its also the first time we've managed to start the new season with the same manager and coaching staff that finished the last season. The continuity and stability that this brings is paramount. Everybody knows what they are doing and whats expected of them.

I guess the continuity etc they brought didn't compensate for their managerial skills.

Since promotion in 2012 we have only had one consecutive premiership season with the same management.
