Monday will be a very interesting game Liverpool looked excellent yesterday but they were at home and they were up aganst a West Ham Team that are a bit disjointed with new signings. Monday they are away under the lights at Selhurst. They have found that tough in the past so this will be much more of a test. If they don't get off to a flyer like yesterday they just might struggle to push us aside. I fancy a draw for this one.

We lost in two tight games with them last season when they were already free scoring. I think this game will also be tight and they will win by one goal.

Bloody hell Dave, steady on old chap. That is very, very positive. But also how I feel as it happens! Let's hope we are right.

In terms of effort and tactics, I think we will play them even -- if not out-play them in effort. I worry that our exertion might catch up with us late, but perhaps from last season we've learned how stay focused in the waning moments.

In truth, I think this will be a game where luck plays a huge role, with goals and/or missed chances being flukey. I predict 1-1 after 80 minutes, whereupon someone scores due to a squirrelly deflection, midfield miscue, own goal, or wacky rebound off the frame.

The bindippers will be overconfident. 2-1 Palace!
