Says you. Linguistically, you write with academic prowess.
Reality, no common sense, and the inability to comprehend what a real debate is.
It takes you 50 words+ to get your zeroed points across, where as a sentence from me is enough to convey my points.
Facts are great? There not great they are facts!! statistics, on the the other hand can be made up, that's the difference.
That's how you debate, is it?

God or Allah help us all

Common sense is great. But it has little to do with the main points of this debate.

We can agree to disagree on what debating is, and more importantly how you should go about doing it without bringing prejudice into the equation.

Facts are great. I wasn't being sarcastic. Facts are like statistics, they can also be made up, and presented as fact (see Spiderman earlier) Which it's why it's always important to cross reference.

'Academic prowess'. LOLE. I elaborate where appropriate, usually because it helps contextualise a point rather than cherry pick for the sake of point scoring, especially when dealing with an incredibly complex subject like this one.

I think this has distracted enough from the real interesting stuff in this thread. Try to reply to my points without attempting at point scoring or deflection, and I'll engage. Cheers

We are slowly getting ironed out and I for one am glad that some of us bad bad as you term right wingers have the balls to be counted and tell it how it is.
This thread is about Islam and terror.

The topic of Islam and Terror is not simple. It is complex.

I prefer to look at the wider picture.

'We are slowly getting ironed out' ?

Nowhere did I say 'right wingers' were bad bad. haha.

I don't care about 'sides', as already stated.

I've already agreed with several things posted by others on here that align more with 'right' views than 'left'. Again I don't Identify to be either.

Play the ball, not the man.

You are slowly starting to realise the environment we are in.
You don't have to be right or left.
It is obvious which 'side' certain posters are on.
Being ironed out is exactly what is happening by the people wanting to hurt us on one hand and the lack of forsight to the oncoming situation by people who can implement change.

Nice. Patronising as well as predjudiced. I’m fully aware, thanks. I just choose to look at both sides of the story not just one. Living in the centre of Croydon as I do, is slightly different to being in Chatham, Kent, which I assume is also full of similar white flight running away from the problem rather than trying to engage with their community. (Educated guess).

Agreed.

If you’re looking at it in distracting politically binary terms, yes, potentially. Remove the Bizarre need to drop it into every post though and usually you have a much better debate, free of allegiance, distraction and emotively driven entrenchment, allowing the actual topic to be focused on.

I mean, I hope by ‘us’ you don’t mean ‘the right’.

Oh so where I live affects my view.
Just for info I was born in Mayday 51 users ago
I grew up on shrublands until i moved out at 19
I then lived in west Croydon for 5 years right next to rockbottoms on the high street.
The financial crash cost me that flat so I was back to shrublands for a further 11 years. For a time in a 2 bed flat with 3 kids.
Only 15 years ago I moved to Kent.
I have as much knowledge about Croydon as you so really you shouldn't be using my current residence as leverage to make my opinion not as valid as yours on this multi cultural non integration subject.

And addiscombe is not the centre of Croydon.
Opposite the fox and hounds on the other hand really is.!

One more thing.
FYI Chatham probably has more nationalities than you can imagine all colours and countries.
The difference is they will stab you for your shopping, not because you are western!

Chatham’s not improved a lot since I used to work there then (circa 1992-1997)

Palace since 19 August 1972. Palace 1 (Tony Taylor) Liverpool 1 (Emlyn Hughes)

Yup you know that.
It is a perception that outside London it's all roses and funfairs.
This anti western feeling IS everywhere.
I would rather be done over for having something than be stabbed for being me.

I was not aware of the statement you produced, I only stated my view if you still think I have a narrative then so be it. I will tell you I spent 3 years living in pakistan and worked along side many Muslims. I travelled extensively in that country and have seen Islam at work, some of it good, more of it bad (although they would argue bad from a Westerners viewpoint). I will not go into this on this thread as it is not relevant but if you wish to discuss the pakistani Muslim treatment of pakistani Christians orthe way they oppress women perhaps we could do this at another time...by the way the above is not fake news!!

It is very relevant if it shows how muslims act and the way a large amount want the West to be.
I can guarantee though that if you do let us know then the crusades and onwards to Iraq and Syria will be a justification in some eyes.
