First trip to Selhurst...Need pub ideas...kids???

Traveling from the US to the home match on Sept 1. Cannot begin to share how excited I am for that day to arrive! I am bringing the wife and two kids (12 & 10 years old)...are kids allowed in any of the pubs around Selhurst? Thanks in advance!

Try BoxPark next to East Croydon Station. Plenty of food, plenty to drink. Not cheap but as it’s a one off push the boat out. 5 min train to Selhurst Station.

Or take them to the fanzone at the ground, very limited choice of drinks (not cheap) but usually some entertainment for the kids, and they will meet Pete and Alice!! (the mascots). Chance to have your photo taken with the Crystals (wife permitting!!). ENJOY THE TRIP

A pint (and two cokes) in the Cherry Trees at Norwood Junction followed by fish n chips from the chippie Tony's Supa Fry on the High St is about as STH LDN & Proud as you can get Edited by simonmdt (19 Aug 2018 7.51am)

I would endorse Spiderman's comments. The Fan Zone (outside the Main Stand) would be the best place if you've got children.

Hey Bama, Let me know how the trip goes! I'll be traveling from Philadelphia to see the Spurs on Nov 10th. Would like to hear your prospective. Just me and the wife, no kids. Enjoy!
