Today Roy took too long to react for what the match was asking and he should had brought Ayew in instead Sörloth!
There was a few times that the ball didn't went to the left wing sometimes with the passing lines totally open...

I’m sorry to say but Sorlorth is not up with the pace of Premiership football, I would have liked him to have gone out on loan to a Championship club, and we brought in a more experienced player.

If only Wickham could get fit he’d play some serious game time this season. He’s a flat upgrade on Benteke and Sorloth

Well, no shame in that performance. On to the next.

Exactly the way I feel. We continue to play like that, fix up the odd errors and we'll be a sure top half side. Europe would be a stretch.

Good performance by us. Benteke better 2nd half, but he and Sorloth don't look likely to score and that remains our greatest weakness. Overall good effort by us.

Nice touch from the Holmesdale giving a 90 minutes silence in memory of the HF.

Is it obviously not enough of a red card then to go an try get it overturned?

I thought we were quite careless with what little possession we had in the first half.

Our set pieces definitely need work.

I remain to be convinced that Sorloth coming off the bench offers a better option than a tired and hapless Benteke.

Ask me about Ronald de Boer.

My mate (Newcastle fan unfortunately) lives on Davidson Rd and he's always picking up footballs in his garden from Benteke's shots

I agree they were so quiet , like being at a wake I think they were even wearing black arm bands for the HF
