Yes I think Benteke has lost confidence, I also think that there is a gap between our forward line and midfield during our play. Sorloth is not Premiership I don’t care how much time he has on the pitch, Championship possibly. I would like to see Zaha Ayew up front with Meyer, dropping Benteke I’m sorry to say is a must,

Who do include in your statement then, if you can exclude Zaha? You haven't seen Ayew play, Wickham hasn't played for a year.

I think there has to be a change as, at the moment, when we’re playing a passing game early in the match Benteke looks like a waste of space but when we were losing and pumping balls into the box you wish he was in there.

In fairness to Sorloth he’s twice been thrown on when we need a goal late in the game and the opposition have players behind the ball.

Not convinced by Sorloth but think he may be a better starter and have more mobility and better hold up but Benteke a better sub albeit a horribly expensive one.

As I recall we did well with Wilf and Townsend up front last season.

You can argue Benteke wasn't ever going to be able to do much against Liverpool (I wouldn't because its not exactly an isolated case) but when he can't do anything against Watford either, surely Sorloth deserves more than 5 minutes when already losing.

I can't see how Sorloth can possibly be worse if he starts a game. Benteke does nothing. His best chance hit his shoulder.

Sorloth to start the next 3 with Ayew coming on, forget Benteke. If Sorloth doesn't do anything in 3 starts then give it to Ayew.

It has been been said that the definition of insanity is making the same mistake time and time again but continuing to repeat the same mistake without learning the lesson.
It has been evident for a considerable length of time that Benteke does not suit the current system.
Either the system has to change or Benteke has to be dropped.
He needs others to do his running and lots of crosses coming in for him to attack.
I can’t see Palace playing in a way to accommodate his strengths at the moment.
