All the focus is on the penalty incident but this is the real controversy in my opinion. Is there a song for him yet? I thought I heard something from the Holmesdale, but couldn't make it out... He needs one. He is fast becoming an absolute treasure at the club. I'm very excited at his prospects.

Your wingers they don't like him, Or something to that effect, as there's slightly different versions sung lol On Obi-Wan, though, honestly, I haven't seen a more naturally talented full back than Wan-Bissaka for a long, long time. The guy's one-on-one tackling is absolutely phenomenal, and his attacking ability is ever improving. Honestly, this kid will be England's main right back one day, and he will play for a top team one day.

Don’t want to bang on about it but I will. Having just seen the highlights again my first ‘live’ impression has not changed. AWB chases Salah. Salah miskicks the ball to Hennessey. A second after AWB touches Salah’s leg. Salah falls over. AWB gets a red card. Bad decision. A worse decision was the linesman who signaled a foul by PVA after he cleanly got the ball from between Milner’s legs. In doing so he fell over taking Milner with him. By then the fall was 35 yards down the pitch with a 2 on 2. Three very poor decisions. Still great team performance and onwards and upwards.
Always remembering walking from the Holmesdale to the Whitehorse end at half time! |
