A few years back my brother was a neighbour of Burt's and used to see him regularly walking his dog. He told me most celebrities put on a disguise when they go out but Burt just takes his off. He mentioned this as we drove past an old bald man I had to look twice before I realised who it was. Farewell Burt your type of Alpha male is sadly gone.

It has to be said, his film ‘Deliverance’ scarred me for life and is probably the reason I try to avoid Chatham and Gillingham if I can!!
