This is a broad statement, but, anyone who blames the Tories or Labour have not had the realisation yet that any party coming in; 1) has their hands tied due to globalisation. 2) Are mainly incompetent. In effect, we are really voting for the best of the worst rather than the best of the best.
Also, interesting fact. Since WW2, I think only 2/3 PMs did not attend Oxford Uni. Doesn't seem like a choice when one institution is providing all these LEADERS.

Yes but there is a clear difference in this sense between Corbyn's Labour and New Labour/Tories on this front.

The Tories and NL effectively ceded power to the hands of global finance. They hosted private fundraisers, courted the city and were in turn funded, mainly, by these organisations. But look at the difference in where Labour is taking funding from now. It is still Trade Unions yes, but less so, and much more it is about small donations from individuals on a large scale.

This obviously has effect on policy. It is also being reflected in the new draft of Labour MPs, who are far more diverse and from poorer backgrounds than any other draft in the history of parliament.

Is it enough? No it isn't. We need far greater representation of society in parliament, and we need far less corruption and nepotism. But for the first time in my lifetime it's going in the right direction.

That would explain it then, wireless i mean, yeah, we are expensive cryst but its the way they did it, illegally is the issue, thats why its in court this week, and a new taxi is 65k cash, or more on finance, thats so we can carry wheelchairs, and allowing any car to ply for hire as in uber for about a grand isn"t a level playing field, thats why black taxis are dying out, and believe it or not tfl issued around 13000 uber licences to drivers with fake details, covered it up for a year, and when its been exposed a few months ago they said, we have found 2000 of the 13000 and asked them to submit real details! Thats why theirs been lots of rapes and sexual assaults in london in the back of an uber/minicab in the past year, and thats down to the CONservatives watering down a 400 year old industry to make money, ( osborne. cameron, theresa mays husband all have shares in blackrock/uber)

I'm not sure how someone from a "diverse and from poorer background" could make better decisions than someone who is not. It's totally absurd. The right person for the job is the most qualified person – no matter his/her colour or class status.

Equality of outcome is the Marxist nonsense which actually promotes inequality and you get inferior people in the roles.
