With respect, my understanding is that the debate has not centred around a call for the imminent departure of Hodgson and considering the favoured replacements but for discussing the potential candidates when Hodgson eventually departs,given that his contract runs to the end of the following season. That said, I am far from cerebrally blessed so I might be off track on this matter. that's spot on what it is. people are not bothering to read posts properly before commenting

Roy’s just fine,Palace will finish season in top 12 in premier league,come end of season,with injured players getting fit,Mutch back and a couple of signings in January transfer window,all be sweet.

That mentality seems to inevitably end in a crap appointment and relegation; as in the case of Charlton and Villa. We are after all doing well compared to this time in any previous premiership campaign.

Roy is in his seventies, it is perfectly fair for people to talk about who is going to come next.
