A girl at school that I really fancied was a Wolves supporter. I pretended that I thought Wolves were good whenever I spoke to her. I think about her whenever Wolves are on the agenda. I wonder if she remembers I am a Palace fan?
Anyway, i hope we thrash them, but will be happy with a 1-0, Tompkins header.

Of course, it was a home game v Wolves in the pissing rain that spelt the end of Anal Smith's reign, with a sea of season tickets flying on to the pitch. Andy bloody Sinton scored as well, which made it all the more depressing.

Wife beating may be socially acceptable in Sheffield, but it is a different matter in Cheltenham

I could be wrong but I think this might have been the game when we lost 0-2 at home and there were chants of "Stand up if you want Smith out". Someone in the Directors Box (Who shall remain nameless) was standing and encouraging others around him to do so much to the chagrin of Simon Jordan !

I believe Wolves have kept the same team for the last 6 or 7 games.

I suspect they will field a back three of Boly,Coady and Bennett with two wing backs in Doherty and Jonny.Bennett could trouble us with his long throws and Neves can score from 25 yard free kicks, has a good shot from distance and has scored some specatcular goals.Helder Costa is another player who takes free kicks but he doesn't tend to last the whole game.Talented players across the pitch.

They shelled out nigh on £65 Mill on transfers in pre-season with a net spend of around £50 Mill.

Wow,,£65m.
They have invested for success,then.

unbelievable pessimism on this site.
most are saying Wolves will win comfortably,i hope the players don`t look at this site.
overall we have better players than Wolves, but they are on a high after promotion, and are full of confidence.
however i think the Palace players are wound up after the Bournemouth game, and will be desperate for the three points, and will beat Wolves.

Mostly Portuguese players and the management are Portuguese. Owners 'Fosun' from China have big plans for the club.

With four of the big boys coming up on the trot and Everton away, we desperately need to win this one, sadly from what I’ve seen of wolves and us, we won’t.

So I’ll go 1-3, with Luka getting a consolation pen for us

I was in Holmesdale Upper that day and it was the chants of 'you don't know what you're doing' I remember most.

Or alternatively, fact-based realism.

I doubt any players look at this site, but if they did I wouldn't expect them to be surprised, in light of our results so far.

It's difficult to be optimistic about this one on current form.

Lose this and with the upcoming games, we may find ourselves back to where we were nearly a year ago.

3-1 Palace. I saw it all in a dream: a Palace full-back will score a hat-trick - one with each foot and one with his head.

After the Man Utd game we will have played 13 games.
After 13 games last season we had accrued 8 pts which is 1 more than we have at present.
If we don't equal or better 8 pts after 13 games then this really will be cause for concern as it will represent a terrible run of results.
