Even yesterday I wasted two hours trying to debug some C++ when all I had done was try to delete a QGraphicsItem pointer to an object that was already assigned a parent whose destructor was deleting it automatically anyway. I'm putting that one down to a senior moment (couldn't remember key points of the Qt API). ============ The Ferret ============

Yep. Even yesterday I wasted two hours trying to debug some C++ when all I had done was try to delete a QGraphicsItem pointer to an object that was already assigned a parent whose destructor was deleting it automatically anyway.

I'm putting that one down to a senior moment (couldn't remember key points of the Qt API).

Control-Alt-Delete is something WIndoze users have to do when it all goes Pete Tong yet again, isn't it? The only thing that crashes my computer is code I've written myself (with errors of the kind described).

When i was younger i had a lovely Mini Rover from 1977 - anyways, got it, showed it off to the missus at the time and whatever, anyways after summer left us i was bored with my current 6th former girlfriend and started having a bit on the side, usually in the car - one time i was with the missus and ofcourse the car got foggy pretty quick as we drove down to purley way (being an old car) for the cinema and what appeared all over the inside of the windshield, my crappy reebok classic prints, some tarts bare feet and a lot of smeers... i tried to make the wipers go faster and spray more water... but condensation doesn't work like that... school boy error. This was once a quality forum....

running out of dishwasher tablets and thinking good old washing up fairy liquid would suffice. ended up like something out of confessions of a window cleaner with suds all over floor. letting mrs kd give me a soapy w*** in shower. never get soap down your japs eye. I had hours of what felt like pissing razor blades had a large bottle of water in coat pocket when out for a 6 mile plus walk. after a few miles out my laces came undone so bending down i crushed the plastic bottle and copped a litre of water in coat pocket and down leg. 2 miles walk back looking like id pissed meself and uncomfotable. the list goes on.. Kids,tired of being bothered by your pesky parents? Then leave home, get a job & pay your own bills, while you still know everything.
