Oh, and Marge and Bert agree with me. :-)

Again the lack of any real argument opposing my view point speaks volumes.

As I stated in the pub the other night, it is simple cause and effect, the HF go, so does the atmosphere. that I'm sure as Palace fans we were all proud of.

Marge and Bert leave, in the grand scheme of things, who gives a fcuk, Certainly not the club that's for sure, and I know that sounds terrible but it is a harsh reality.

The HF come back so does the atmosphere, and if a few people who consider their seat personnel real estate (wrongly I might add) have a girly pissy fit because they have to move a few a meter's then so what.

Getting all indignant about it is just prolonging the inevitable.

I also stated in a prior post that the flat atmosphere may have something to do with out dip in form at home. I was met with the dumbest comment I have ever read on here, " The emirates has a flat atmosphere and Arsenal are 4th in league "

THE SQUAD ALSO COST ABOUT HALF A BILLION YOU IDIOT.

Our's most certainly didn't and the Adrenalin created by a screaming crowd, shouting encouragement and screaming your name, is what is lacking. I truly believe the players respond to the crowd, and having played in front of large (ish) crowds myself, you are certainly more fired up, then when the grounds empty and silent.

Stop Bitching and whining and move seats.

My own opposing view, in concert with my fellow HOL writer Wilf King, was set out on the main page a few days ago. It attracted an unprecedented number of email messages in agreement.

The link above sets it out so I'm not inclined to repeat it again.

It could be a problem for you to read views you obviously disagree with and I'm afraid there is none of the swearing and rambling, incoherent anger which you apparently feel strengthen your own view.

You could always ask the editor for a slot on the main page to put your case and see what response you receive. I, for one, would be very interested to know.

Why should we?

Where do you Sit? Are you effected or are you part of the invading minority who think they run Palace?

Just asking.

Hmm, were I Danny I wouldn't answer such a value-laden question.

I don't think the HF want to do this to get a better view, I do think they have more of a plan. I still don't know how much of this debacle is a direct result of the views of the HF and how much is simply poor change management by the Club.

I don't think it matters whether Danny is affected or suffers an effect from this. He is entitled to his view providing it isn't simply an F U type approach.

Have I just had 'cold water' or been 'chastised'?

A good reposte Maple, but, still would like an answer, although the 'F U' type will prob be it, if not by him, certainly by others.

FWIW I don't think you are bitching and whining.

We all have our views and have a right to them

I haven't yet made up my mind, I await some kind of sensible conversation with someone, anyone, who has the vaguest notion what is going on.

The results don't bear out your theory as in previous seasons we have had a better away record than home so Fortress Selhurst is a figment of some PR man's imagination

One would think it WAS 'Fortress Selhurst' the way some pundits go on about Selhurst Park being a hard place to go to etc etc etc when we know this is not the actualite.

But...but.......but, the HF writ it on a banner (with a couple of big dicks either side) so it must be true!

I think both you & i will have to wait a very long time for that to happen. I dont think any ONE person actually does know whats going on, including our esteemed chairman.

I remember back in the 60's etc when we had brilliant atmoshere, as well as deadly silence, same as the 70's 80's & even some of the 90's. Since we've been in the Prem its all changed, its not the same.

Here we are, as a whole, arguing about a 100-180 strong group of black clad, snotty nosed, bully boy oiks(imo) who think they 'own/run' Palace. The 'Casuals' would've & still could make mincemeat of them

If last season is anything to go by then seven home wins out of nineteen matches would bear that prognosis out!!
