We have been working hard behind the scenes building a centraldata base that includes everyone’s requirements, needs, and preferred seating locations based on the information we collected during the Open Day and throughout telephone consultations. If you have not yet shared your preferences with us, please email us boxoffice@cpfc.co.uk as soon as possible, and we will arrange an appointment with you.
Our findings are now almost complete and we have a much clearer picture of the replacement seats we need to find around the ground. Our next priority is to identify groups of seats that will be available next season, and announce release dates.
In the meantime please see find below a number of updates / clarification on specific issues that have been raised with us in recent weeks.
Release dates
Release dates for the save your seat deadline will be confirmed as soon as possible – realistically in January 2019.
Priority Phases:
Throughout the sales process for next season, we will deliver all relocations based on the following priorities:
1. Supporters with disabilities/special requirements.
2. Number of years of holding a season ticket in succession (our current system only holds data to a maximum of 9 years).
In the event that multiple supporters share the same number of years holding a season ticket, priority will be given based upon loyalty points.
Groups
If you wish to book as a group, the priority will be based on the person in the group with the least number of loyalty points, in the same way that we run our away tickets allocations.
Previously Reserved Seats:
As you are aware there are seats available for the 19/20 season that are not currently held by other Season Ticket Holders. These seats are located all around the ground and include some additional seating due to be created in the Arthur Wait during the close season. During the open day and via phone consultations supporters had the option to view, and reserve, the available seats if they were suitable for their needs. Supporters who already selected a seat will be able to purchase this once the selling phase begins, however there are a small number of supporters who have selected the same seat, in the event that the selected seat had more than one request, priority will be based on the priority phases stated above. Any supporters affected by this situation will be notified within the next two weeks.
All supporters, including those who have already requested a seat, will have the opportunity to change their selection once the “Save Your Seat” deadline has passed. We recommend that all supporters revisit their choices after the deadline, as that will be when some of the best seats will become available.
We are aware that there was confusion surrounding the open day and we apologies if any one received incorrect information.
Choosing a seat:
Once the “Save Your Seat” deadline has passed, the Box Office will spend approximately one week creating seating groups. This will be done not only using un-renewed seats, but also season ticket holders may be required to move their seats, along the row, to help accommodate larger groups.
Once this has been completed, supporters will be contacted in order of priority, and given private access to the ticketing site where you can view and select any available seats for the 2019/20 season. Once you have made your selection the Box Office will process the payment at the early bird rate and your compensation package will be activated on your account.
Compensation package
We would like to re-confirm the enhanced compensation package for all affected supporters in Block E:

1. 50% off your season ticket for the 2019/20 season only.
2. A Gold membership and all associated benefits including the option of a programme voucher booklet in place of the digital programme if preferred.
3. An exclusive priority window to select seats in the new Main Stand once on sale. Please note this may only be offered as a multi-year season ticket package.
4. An additional earlypriority window to move seats again for the 2020/21 seasonif needed
5. 1500 loyalty points

Singing Section Waiting List
The application list to join the new “singing section” is now open, you can join the list by clicking here.
Priority will be given to supporters who have previously purchased tickets in one of theclub‘s singing sections.
Supporters seat swap
As previously discussed with representatives from block E, the club will be offering a seat swap facility to increase the number of seats available to displaced supporters. OtherSeason Ticket holders can voluntarily take up the compensation offer and move to another seat. Full details of this will be announced soon.

Seems quite logically worked out and sounds pretty fair to me...

Yep, not sure what more the club could do TBH

Will be worth it long term when the singing section is fully up and running

Short term pain and all that

So the singing section was in full effect for today's match.

Please can somebody explain how they made any difference in our massive 1 - 0win against 10 man league 2 Grimsby? This is not worth shifting long term fans for.

All good. Nothing bad.

It was a cracking atmosphere though, which is kind of the point.

It's 106 miles to Chicago, we got a full tank of gas, half a pack of cigarettes, it's dark... and we're wearing sunglasses.

Correct.

Whatever people's opinions, the club are making an unelected group all powerful. What if they fancy another 500 seats for their mates? Or free food? Or a corporate box or two? Or a say over transfers/ managers?

Strike and you'll get what you want, that's the only message here.

Without the singing section that game would have been an absolutely dreadful experience.

In reflection, I'd keep them there.

I watched the game from the Whitehorse Lane, and quite honestly the singing "Ultras" we're particularly unimpressive.
They could hardly be heard above the din from the Grimsby fans.
A large majority of the Holmesdale dwellers are more interested in watching the match, and refuse to be bullied into singing inanely for the whole 90 minutes.
In the end the Grimsby fans were mocking the efforts of our " Holmesdale Fanatics",it was embarrassing.

Can you explain what difference your horse box makes to your horses with a turbo in it?

Great observation. There are those who vocally support the move, those directly effected that don't, and many who are totally ambivalent. Of the two latter, all good will has been used up. I, for one, won't join in with their dirges and hoping about out of silent resentment.

This move is a disastrous idea long term.
