What instructions have they been given, and what are they not doing?

Willo has kind of answered this (check back) but I refuse to accept that Hodgson has suddenly become a sh*t manager. Why do people automatically blame the manager when the players, certainly on this occasion, failed to stick to a game plan that was working beyond 80 minutes?

I will not blame Hodgson for this.

Wife beating may be socially acceptable in Sheffield, but it is a different matter in Cheltenham

One positive is that the next 4 games are really tough and at the moment we look like dropping points to every team in the league, whether Citeh or Cardiff.

Unfortunately all 3 would probably walk into our attack at the moment. Judging by Cardiff yesterday I would say we have the worse strike force in the league at the moment.

Yep, agreed! Board should've seen this coming and addressed at the end of last season.

The obvious response to your comments is Roy failed to adapt to Everton’s substitutions until we were two nil down

We used three substitutes versus Bournemouth and lost in the last few minutes then

100% the worst forwards in the league , probably 10 teams in the championship with better. West Ham have 4 forwards better than any of ours Southampton have 2 possibly 3.
Everton brought 3 on that would walk into our team.

Luka scores the penalty and it's a different game.

The players gave their all for the cause and it was a disciplined performance but for all Sakho's good work he was caught ball-watching for the opening goal and didn't cover himself in glory for the second.

Hodgson's plan was working until the 87th minute so he obviously felt he would go with the players who had carried it out and not turn to his bench. And one can hardly say that he had a strong bench !

Don't think you can blame either for this defeat which again highlights our awful attack and lack of options to another team in the league who have these.
