Squad is far better than 7 points from 9 games. First team is better than 7 points from 9 games.
Enough quality on the bench. Manager let his team down by not even trying to react to the oppositions changes.
Indefensible from Roy, again.

I'm afraid Roy is past his sell by date.
He has run out of ideas,he looks like a rabbit caught in the headlights.

Read what dangermouse wrote.
See what everton did today.
Spot the difference.
I think we are better than 7 points.
Sadly you need to use all your tools to do the job properly.
As soon as everton made a sub roy should have. End of
Him f***ed up
Again.

Hate to say it, but starting to become very worried about Roy’s ability. We should be able to grind out a result with the players we have and I blame the management for our collapse in the last 10 mins. That’s when he should be orgainising, players should be well drilled on this eventuality and he should also know when & how to use subs.

We were in control most of the game and then capitulated and his post match comments don’t inspire confidence either as he’s starting to sound bereft of ideas.

At this rate, we’ll be that club that occupies the final relegation spot where everyone says ‘oooh, never thought Palace would go down start of the season!’

Absolute tosh. We've deserved far better return for our efforts. Couldn't disagree more with you if I tried.

Wickham and Ayew/Kaikai for Schlupp and Andros gives us a target and Wilf back in his rightful position. Add Riedewald or Punch for Macca and you have fresh legs, fresh minds and a fresh formation to give Everton something to think about. At least we would have tried something rather than just hope to hang on in the face of the late onslaught.

Yes I agree.

Just looking at the last two games, we certainly didn't deserve to lose both of them.We have hit the woodwork 4 times this season which I think is more times than any other PL team.

Problem is being an attacking threat - only Huddersfield have scored less goals than us this season.Unless we can suddenly conjure up some magic in this aspect of the game, it is going to be a long hard season.

Spot on. This problem hasn't been rectified from last season and may well of been compounded by losses in midfield. Any team with an attacking threat in the league, which is the majority, are more than likely to turn us over. We look like we are heading to a 5 team scrap at the bottom.

I'm frustrated after the game and had a beer but need to have a rant. The club's in good hands in Parish and Roy and I think with a few players back and some luck well just about be ok. Even if have to wheel and deal in Jan. However: I've not enjoyed watching palace this season not because of the results but I'm sick of watching the same game. It's like ground hog day what do they review in training? Battle hard, decent shape and some individually good players so always in a game . However can't keep possession, no game management, no bite in the tackle, Schlupp and PVA constantly giving the ball away with rushed 1st time passes, Wilf wanting to fight the world like that good kid in the playground despite being fouled 1000 times he has to be smarter and give and go. A poor game from Luca and Townsend who just play no matter what, a flat footy Hennesey with terrible distribution and no subs when we're treading water last 20. Sakho switching off and actually trying too hard chasing and blocking everything when just needs to defend the area. Tomkins and AWB strong all season and Kouyoute did well today but surely people need to be told they're making same mistakes every fkin week. We're not far short which makes it worse but whole club seems a bit flat with ultra dramas too. It was only 6 months ago I was crowing away at Stoke where we looked fast, organised and clinical and the crowd were buzzing. What is going on in confused? Have to be honest palace a hard watch at the moment and I've seen Barber, Lee, Dorman, Andrew and watched Bassett and Taylor teams home and away. Just lost something so quickly unspent 90 minutes frustrated as losing to teams that are similar to ourselves but we never learn week on fkin week. Anyway rant over let's turn over the Arsenal. EAGLES...

Rarely comment on here anymore but I felt after today it was only necessary to. I am astounded at the lack of blame apportioned to Parish here. He's failed to invest properly for over 4 windows now & has not backed Roy when need backing. This past summer, and past January, lacked sufficient investment and it was painfully obvious that our luck wouldn't last much longer.

Yes Roy is at fault for lack of subs, completely agree & today all it could have taken was Ayew & Riedewald to freshen the side. But I am slightly perplexed at the Parish protectors who seem to let him get away with daylight robbery.

Dont let Cabaye go

Used all 3 subs against Bournemouth and lost. So your point is?
