woke up this morning, and instead of having my usual "cant wait till later" vibe, it was, "oh god im not looking forward to later" kind of vibe

ive never felt like that!! . ....... ever!!!

and whats more worrying is i have ZERO enthusiasm for going to the arsenal game on sunday. ive never felt like this in the 20 years of supporting palace

i suppose there are only so many mirror like seasons one can take in that its going to be yet another "stay up by skin of your teeth season". i have no idea how long our luck can last to be honest

honestly think we need to drop down to the championship sell wilf and completely rebuild our team and style of play

and if it means not bouncing up first time so be it..... at least when we do come back up again playing the likes of arsenal at home will become exiting to me again!!!

or am i being a bit OTT?

I suggest a 'no Palace games until after Christmas' policy - we're only worth watching when we're digging ourselves out of a hole we've spent half a season slipping into

Snap out of it and get behind the team. If you watched us in Third Division South days back in the 50’s you would appreciate how far we have come and how good our players actually are. We will prevail with total support. COYP

I am the same, it's either drama on the field, relegation scraps... drama with the managers or fan base.. it's tiresome.

In the championship we had something to aim for, a spirit building to lead somewhere.. now in the prem, it's hardly been a pic nic and it's often us packing our own s***ty lunch boxes.

Thanks for the constructive criticism. But I'm not going to lie I'm hoping my sons Sunday league game clashes with the kick off in which it will give me a valid excuse of not having to go.

Let's be honest. We all know how it's going to end Sunday

A quiet bland crap atmosphere, a 5th game with out a goal and the usual bum whipping arsenal tend to give us. It's all becoming a bit to blurghhhh

If on the other hand we some how nick a point, give me your phone number and I'll buy you a pint after the game

Many of us feel the same way matey, the last couple of seasons I have felt like not renewing my season, and watching my local team Dagenham & Redbridge, at least it wouldn't hurt quite so much seeing them continually lose.

I can to an extent sympathise with the OPs sentiments. We all hoped that we might push on this season yet we are likely to be mired in yet another relegation scrap. It's so frustrating to see all the frailties we have previously seen in the team over the last 5 seasons still being very evident.

The worst thing is not just the losing but our inability to score goals which means we are never really competing. It is almost becoming inevitable that if we go behind we lose.

All fans like to travel in hope when they go to watch their team play, however, when any real hope or cause for optimism begins to evaporate it does take the pleasure of anticipation out of going to a match.

No definitely not. Tedious unproductive football, lack of atmosphere at the ground because of the aforementioned, rising prices, stupid timings for games ... and we're expected to lump it! Apart from the Liverpool game, I've not even been entertained by the opposition! The Premier League is not all it's cracked up to be and it's not doing a lot for our club except pay the wages of the useless, overpaid prima donnas who turn out wearing Palace shirts for the fixture list squeezed between the international breaks.

I think that we all had such high hopes for this season and a few to come after that. Having had such a great last season after RH saved us and the progress we made under him it looked like we had made the prem our home for the next few years and that we were becoming a side that opponents would fear. Our midfield and defence became strong last year mainly down to Cabaye / Loftus-Cheek / Luka and Jimmy Mac. And of course we had Townsend and Zaha causing havoc against the opposition. All we needed was two or three additions to strengthen our team and we were assured of mid table, perhaps even above that and even a good cup run. We were going to be a force to be reckoned with. Well, that was my thoughts and I believe most of us. Sadly we have gone backwards, that strong midfield from last season is now our weak point and we haven’t got a striker. Truth is we didn’t have one last season but we got bye because of strength in other positions. We didn’t improve our squad for this season only spending 10 million where those that came up and those outside the top 6 that we should be competing with spent far more :-( I’m hoping Roy H can turn it around again, but I’m not optimistic at this time. We would of won that match today last season. I’m still hoping that there are 3 worse teams than us come the end of this season?

Been going since 1969 but a bit of palace left me when my E block seat was taken away from me, without the option of reapplying to stay in the singing section.
So I’ll still support my team, but not bothered now ifs it’s prem or championship .
Feck em.
