I think it would be idiotic to sell now when the big clubs will be preparing a crazy bid in the summer. And then we'll have all summer to replace him.
I don't think we should sell him at all but you do not sell a rising star whose value is going up every week in January. Not unless you are desperate for the money.

I echo everyones sentiments. This lad is a thoroughbred, destined for the top. Hope we can hold onto him but all I can say is with Wilf likely to be off soon and AWB we do have some collateral there for the Surgery required on our team.

Way i look at it, Wilf will be gone this summer - unless we have a new manager in that excites him and the board release some funds.

However, let's assume wilf goes this summer as expected (to me it looks like he wants out) and to sell AWB also, we could be seeing anything from 75 - 100 mil generated from the pair (i'd guess 35 for AWB, 55 for Wilf).

Add that to our kitty and i would say there was 100 mil to spend - so when you line up who we have left..

Add two decent strikers, one of experience and one potential, decent back up keeper a new right back, that's only 4 signings. Obviously and hopefully that shouldn't cost 100 mil, so then you got wriggle room in jan and the following summer to replace and evolve the team.

Prob only paper-talk at the moment but would you let him go or for how much?

I wouldn’t swap AWB for any other right back in the country.
He can’t cross like Trippier, he hasn’t got Walker’s power going forward, but as a defensive right back with excellent timing in the tackle he has no equal this season.
He will only get better and I really hope we can keep him for a bit longer.
This will depend on the type of offers we get and his own ambitions.
Unfortunately I only see the hype getting louder if he’s capped by England soon, but for once I feel that the hype is justified.
