If Joel Ward had not been injured at the start of last season AWB would not have got his start and I think we would have recorded a very similar number of points. Having said that, AWB was a delight to watch and showed what a great player and prospect he is. If we were to sell Zaha I believe it would seriously damage our prospects of staying in the Premiership but that is not the case with AWB . As good as he is, the team is not dependent on him. He has still got a lot to learn and a price of £50 million for him is enormous. The only club I see paying that much for him is Man U because of their situation. We need to strengthen in other areas but we haven’t got the pot required to do so properly. We also do not want to sell our other prized assets. Selling AWB, if he is agreeable and if the price is right, is the most obvious thing to do.

His worst game of the season,sad for England and also his immediate prospects of a transfer but good for us as it will hopefully put the Mancs off, AWB is not the finished article they require.
