I agree with you to a certain point but I still believe it was a deal that we could not refuse. I have no idea what our financial situation is regarding signing players but letting AWB go may be the difference in us signing players or not. we havnt a great track record with signings but imagine we have unearthed a gem for 10 million who is better than AWB. Il hold my tongue until the transfer window is shut.

Who's celebrating selling a good player? Analysing it, taking a view it's a good price: yeah. Celebrating? No. At least not me. We all had our price for AWB, Hrolf, even you. History will judge who was right. I thought 2.5m for Wright back in the day was criminal. And we have historically been abysmal at selling for good prices. This time, I simply believe we've had the better side of the bargain. You don't. But I'm not celebrating.
If you want to live in a world full of kindness, respect and love, try to show these qualities. |
