Sorry i haven't read all the comments on this thread, so if I'm repeating anything I apologise but I just need to vent my anger. Anyone listen to Talksport today ? They are a club in decline, are we not a club in ascendancy ? Will we win more trophies than them in the ten years ? We could if we keep our best players! Is this the club that luckily beat us in two cup finals. Had a player that attacked one of our supporters. Unless my memory is starting to fail me wasn't they responsible for a death of one of our supporters back in 1994. Roy Keane stamping on Garth etc. Why on earth would you sell our best players to these mugs?

I understand what everyone is saying we are a selling club , but 50 + mil for an unproven right back is too good for the club and probably the player to turn down . Hopefully the money and with Wilf Staying we can make our squad a lot stronger and move on to next level .

Seriously, what are the chances of CPFC replacing AWB like-for-like with a player that costs three or four times less. It would have to be the signing of the decade and I don't have the confidence we can go out there a find these gems. At the end of the day we are now weakened in the r/b position. A bad deal. 18 months ago AWB could have been signed for 500 grand.
