Gone are the days when teams were wholly reliant on the manager/scouts attending games in all weathers, running the rule over certain players.

In this modern era, teams are reliant on technology such as WyScout,Scout7 etc etc to identify players from around the globe with data-led analysis very much in evidence.Recruitment teams in conjunction with the manager painstakingly trawl through a plethora of players based on team requirements but this is just the staging post to an eventual transfer and of course as we are all aware getting players 'Over the line' can prove very frustrating and end in disappointment.

Understandable from his Scandivian links.

We've had a lot of unlucky moments this season and the team is worse.

It's easy to vent anger at Hodgson, but I feel as if this week really is make or break. Poor results against Burnley, Brighton and West Ham and I'll begin to sway towards a change of manager. But he's done enough to earn our backing for now.

A sample of who's available : Bruce,Carvalhal,Jokanovic,Moyes,O'Neill,Strachan,Poyet.
Would you be happy with any of these ?

Hodgson performed a miracle last season so there is a great deal of faith in him reviving our fortunes.

I think we'll be fine with Roy until the end of the season as he is tactically very astute and organises the team well and I genuinely believe we're starting to move towards the performances we were putting in last season and that the goals will start to come.

Big win for Brighty yesterday, riding shotgun and creating a Steve Parish sandwich with Blitzer.

Meanwhile the new missus was relegated to bringing up the rear, and you know that was probably debated. Brighty stuck to his guns and won the day.

Trump lost. Badly. Hahahahahahaha.

I agree, we need to be lining up someone to replace Roy in the summer, where Roy can stay on as an advisory role and work together for a specific ethos. Getting a manager that can take over, then sprinkle his marka nd have a smooth transition. Even during the recent bad spell, i was never calling for roy to change and yesterday showed why, if we can keep that up, esp with a striker or two added, we'll be safe.

This was once a quality forum....
