Interesting read about the power play behind the distribution of tv money and Scudamore's part in it. Am I the only one who would not care at all if the "big 6" would leave to play Europena Super league, in the Middle east, US and wherever they go and let domestic football get on with it?

However, we shouldn't be held to ransom by them as I think a European league would soon become boring. Their real fans, the ones who attend matches, wont want it.

Quite right. The product he's been selling is akin to selling Coca-Cola in terms of strength of brand and therefore about as difficult to mess up as selling a cup of water to the ancient mariner. He's on obscene amounts of money anyway and it's expected he should get a bung? The salary he's on is reward enough for the job he does. This is sycophancy of the highest order. A signed card and a bottle of scotch will do.
