Well, after Welbeck was robbed of his goal by the ref against Spain, who thought that we would now be in a position that if we beat Croatia in the final game, we win the group and advance. Not that its going to be easy. Croatia have their heads up now, but this times its at home, and Spain were real bad defensively so made Croatia look good. Of course, if we lose it, we go down

Interesting that if it's 0-0 we finish 2nd but if it's 1-1 we get relegated so if there's no score after 1 hour do we defend it? Not sure what we gain by finishing 2nd?

It’s a funny old game these days!! I’ve seen Palace get promoted and relegated about seven times!! Never thought I’d see the day when England could get promoted or relegated.

As a Palace fan I always bemoan our luck and watching the game today I thought flippin eck more bad luck as Croatia score with a blinkin deflection against the run of play and too many missed chances to count but unlike Palace, England have Harry Kane! 2 bloomin 1, well done indeed. Luck turned by a decent striker Parrot

Pretty impressed with Switzerland. Hands up anyone who thought they were going through requiring a two-goal margin and being two goals down against Belgium and with a defence that looked distinctly porous. Incredible match.

Still puzzled how Kane got the MoM award over Lingard? Aren't subs considered? Also, I'm not complaining but the ball looked over the line to me before Lingard knocked it out thus preventing Croatia's second goal?

Certainly it didn't fanny about when the ball was 9mm over our goal line.

Another really exciting game - I think this squad is going to have some really memorable games in the next few years. Having players of the quality of Lingard, Dele and Sancho to come off the bench was the difference yesterday - this squad is so young and well balanced, it bodes very very well for the future.
