Still excellent and probably slightly better than Kelly at this stage but he can only decline now where Kelly has been getting progressively better after his disaster and confidence knocker of his left back season under Pardew. Very true. We'll do just fine with Kelly or Dann, but losing a player of Sakho's quality removes some of the class that could carry us to a cup.

I'm fine with Sakho out. Kelly will definitely be able to do the job. Hope he doesn't slack off with a lack of competition but judging by his performances against Leicester/West Ham he should do the job very well

This is not good, we need Sakho in there and we look physically weaker in our own box without him there. Surely he could handle Lukaku physically. Not sure why Schlupp was marking him, they are a total physical mismatch. Also missing AWB is hurting us.
Trump lost. Badly. Hahahahahahaha. |

Not having Sakho there tonight cost us dearly. Defence much the poorer without him and of course our normal right back. That said Ward did okay.

We won’t see him for a while as he had an operation yesterday in Paris. Went well by all accounts but looks dodgy for the rest of this season. At least AWB should return tomorrow

At least AWB should return tomorrow This concerns me greatly. I can't help but remember how awful we were defensively when Sakho was not around. Dann and Kelly are sub standard and Tomkins seems to be a lot better with Sakho next to him.
