Oh Yeah, have you seen the list of players they signed for big money, but didn't make the 1st team, your getting carried away because they have two good strikers at the moment. (lucky buggers)

Be grateful to hear about this list.

This! ☺

There isn't a list as in like a shopping list, i read an artical, on here or the BBS, that named a lot of players and how much they had cost, but were considered bed buys.
Sorry if the word "list" confused anyone.

I just couldn't think of players signed for a significant sum who hadn't actually made the 1st team. You have mentioned "Bad buys" so the article might have focussed on those who had actually made the 1st team but perhaps hadn't made the contribution expected of them given their transfer fees.

Jordan Ibe has only been a bit part since signing for £16 million. Also, last season remember Bournemouth finished below us and their top scorers were Wilson and King with 8 goals each. In reality a bit of luck and a player or two finding a rich vein of form can make a huge difference. Let's nab Defoe before they start dropping points and panic!

I recall a few years ago Brendan Rodgers stating that Ibe could play in 5 forward positions.

In terms of his tenure at Bournemouth I believe he has made nigh on 60 appearances for them (Perhaps mostly from the bench) but hardly scored.

The fact Defoe hasn’t started in the PL doesn’t mean he still cannot score. After all a certain ex Palace forward struggled to get starts at Bournemouth and look at him now - one of the top scorers in the PL this season I believe. Not that I would expect that from Defoe but he really couldn’t do any worse than our current available strikers.

According to Roy at today's presser, Defoe hasn't been discussed

He has hardly played for a team that have lost 6 of last 7. He is 36 years old and has scored 4 goals in 33 appearances for Bournemouth
A clear pass

Bournemouth ready to let him go, think he would rather stay in the epl than go north, unless celtic came in, think he will be coming to selhurst very soon!
