haha. Assumes I'm far left, again. Constant, repetitive, narrative. Again, I don't identify with either side, and I'm not partisan, so I agree and disagree with views, opinions and POVs on both 'sides'. Amazingly that's actually logged on some of these boards. Being able to constantly evaluate, confront and evolve ones views is essential.

Never bothered to post on the BBS. Despite the terrible design of this site, that is worse. Posting on one forum is enough effort for me.

BTW I was including myself in that question – I'm as guilty of it as everyone else. There are however a select few who love to get personal real quick and with great regularity rather than debating the point...

I live near Stoke because I went to Staffordshire University 25 years ago. The only university that would accept me. I then got a job up here and so stayed. Moving back home has never been an option because of the horrendous house prices. I would love to. I later moved down from Cheshire (footballers wives territory) to near Stoke for the same reason, plus I knew the area. Nothing to do with the demographics. Purely economic reasons. I bought an old semi council house in the countryside with an acre of land for that same price as a semi estate house in Cheshire with a postage stamp garden (both cost £220k in 2012).
